We are so proud of our Science Olympiad team. They competed at the regional competition in Kirksville today and placed 2nd out of 9 teams.

Gabe Gall and Hailey Valentine were selected to receive their State FFA Degrees!!
They will be awarded in April at the Missouri State FFA Convention!
Congratulations to these two for all their hard work and dedication!



The Class of 2025 is currently selling prom shirts. All profit from the shirts sales will go toward our after prom event.


Please note that our PreK-12 students will be traveling by bus to Bucklin High School on Tuesday, March 5th for the Tri-County Conference Band & Choir Concert. Concert starts at 9:00. If you have any questions, please call the office at 660-226-5615.

Our Junior High Team won both of their matches! High School split the night with a win against Novinger and an overtime lost to Bevier. Great job students! They represented our schools well and we are excited for the season to continue. You can catch both teams in action next Wednesday, March 6 @ MCR-IV starting at 4:00. Go BMC!


2024-2025 School Calendar


Food for America Day!
Today for FFA week FFA members were able to share about different aspects of the agriculture industry!
They share about tractor safety, equine, goats, beef and dairy cattle, row crops, chickens, rabbits, and even floriculture!










Monday, February 26th will be the first practice day for both baseball (9-12) and track (6-12). If you are planning to participate in either activity you need to attend the first practice so coaches can make plans for their upcoming season. Baseball players, this is especially important for you to attend the first practice to determine if we have enough participants to have a team.

Congrats to Quincy, Kennedy, Cecilia and Emily on being inducted in the National Technical Honor Society today at MACTEC.
The requirements to receive this award are as follows:
1. Senior/Rising Senior
2. 3.0 GPA in CTE pathway
3. Student must be focused on a career pathway or major
4. Active participation in CTSO
5. No disciplinary record
6. One or more faculty/staff recommendations
We are proud of their accomplishments!

Please note, due to no water in the building, there is NO Junior High Scholar Bowl or Science Olympiad practice today. All High School basketball practices are at Bucklin and will return to New Cambria at 6:00.

First graders enjoyed a "Write the Room" activity today!





We will recognize our BMC Senior Basketball players, Cheerleaders & Pep Band members on Thursday night @ Bucklin. Recognition will take place in between the boys and girls game.
