We had an out-of-this-world experience in our 6th grade class studying moon phases with Oreos! 🍪🌕 The students loved transforming cookies into moons and learning hands-on!
🌟 This week in our Middle School STEM class, students had a fantastic time engineering rock movers to tackle our “gum drop rocks!” It was amazing to see creativity and teamwork in action. 🤖💡
4th & 5th grade had a great time on their field trip to Arrow Rock today. Big thank you to Genny Wright for funding this trip. We would also like to thank our bus driver, Will, who bought all the students a T-shirt. We had a fun time learning, playing, and being outside!
Due to wet field conditions at Meadville, tonight's BMC softball and baseball games will be held at Macon County R-IV in New Cambria.
4th and 5th grade just learned about synonyms and what better way to learn than synonym rolls! They worked hard during class to finish "baking their rolls" and during lunch they got to enjoy some cinnamon rolls for dessert!!
Fifth graders have been studying physical and chemical changes in science. Today they completed an activity of making S'more's to further their learning of both!

🌟 Exciting updates from our middle school STEM class! This week, we challenged our students to create their very own solar ovens. After an initial water test, they made adjustments and today, they put their ovens to the real test by making s’mores! 🍫🔥
Fun in First: Students practiced questioning and answering skills by doing a Q&A session with partners. Also, we learned about the difference between rules and laws during social studies by making an anchor chart together.
BMC Booster Club is sponsoring "$1 Night" for the Home Softball & Baseball games vs. LaPlata on Wednesday, September 17th. Each person will get in at a discounted rate of $1 per person thanks to the generosity of the BMC Booster Club. Games start at 5pm.

Fall BMC Softball / Baseball Photos will be taken at MCR-IV on Wednesday, September 17th at 3:45pm. Order forms are being sent home this week and orders can also be placed online at https://www.keithlystudios.com.
4th graders have been busy learning about energy and the transfer of energy. This week they did their own investigating and experimenting with designing a Bumper Car Roller Coaster.

BMC Softball and Baseball Senior Night will take place at Macon County R-IV on Friday, September 26th in between the girls and boys games. Please come and celebrate the achievement of our BMC Seniors!
CORRECTION—There are NO home games this Thursday vs Linn County on September 11th. The softball game scheduled for that night has been postponed to a later date, TBD
