
The Macon County R-4 School District is accepting bids for snow removal for the 2024-2025 school year. Bids should include removing snow from north and south parking lots, the parking lot at the annex, and all entrances. BMC Softball and Baseball players and their families are invited to attend our end of season fun night sponsored by the BMC Booster Club! We will meet at the Bucklin field at 6:00 for the kickball game and pizza. Wear your Halloween costume for some fun! If weather doesn't cooperate we will be in the Bucklin gym.


In ELA2, students finished reading "Animal Farm" by George Orwell and worked very hard on completing a movie poster project for the book. Way to go, Raiders!


Please save the date for the 2024 Winter Concert! This year's theme is "Fire and Ice" and the concert will be held on Tuesday, December 17th at 6pm in the Big Gym. All elementary students and secondary band, choir and piano students will be performing. Please contact Mr. Olsen with any questions.

Our Raiders are resourceful! Our Ag Science II students learned how to harvest seeds from mature plants to use in prep of our plant sale this spring!

Here are some highlights from yesterday's elementary field trip to Bethel Heritage Days (1st-3rd grade group). Thanks to a generous donor, we were able to attend without cost. We had a great day!!

Our yearbook staff attended Walsworth's Fall Yearbook training today at Brookfield!




TCC Art on the Spot art-making event at Truman State University. High School students participated in making art "on the spot" with the Truman campus as their art subject. Ana received the 1st Place award for her landscape.

HS FCS-Family & Consumer Science- students learned new skills creating fruit recipes this past week-They made Tanghulu, a Chinese candied fruit. They also utilized fruit in healthy smoothies.




Due to wet field conditions, the Softball Game vs. Novinger for tonight has been postponed to Monday, September 30 @ 5:00.
Baseball will have practice. Softball practice is pending.

We love family group Fridays!
Our elementary students are split into mixed age family groups and placed with a teacher that they meet with each week on Friday. They get to talk about their week, play games together, do activities, and learn together.
