Students in Ag Science 1 have been working to memorize the FFA Creed. Kayla was the first student to memorize the entire creed!! Way to go!!


Anatomy preformed autopsies on pickles today in order to show off their vocabulary skills by identifying regions of the pickles' injuries.






ATTENTION: The softball/baseball games at La Plata have just been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept 18 at 5:00. Go BMC!

MCR-IV sends our deepest condolences to the Green City R-I school district and community as they grieve the loss of longtime Coach Donnie Fields.
We also extend our thoughts to La Plata’s Athletic Director/Head baseball coach, Devin Fields, during this difficult time.
Due to this, Tuesday’s (9/17/24) softball & baseball games @ La Plata have been postponed. A makeup date will be announced soon.

With the upcoming Jr. High boys and girls basketball season starting please note a little change to the normal BOYS junior high schedule. We have dual coaching responsibilities with our head coach and will need to have some morning practices to allow our coach to be available for both sports. Please be patient and thank you for your understanding.
Junior High Boys will be getting a calendar from Mr. Akins today at practice. This will include all practice times for the next several weeks including the morning practices.
Practice times are also listed on the BMC practice schedule updated every two weeks. This is found on our website by clicking the BMC cooperative tab.

Students worked together to keep their leaf pile from blowing away in the wind at recess today.



Second grade invited first grade to share in the excitement of their butterfly release this week!



Biology class had fun solving the "murder mystery" by examining the "stomach contents" of our victim.




Students in Food Science made garlic dill pickles as part of their food preservation unit.


Freshman classes did scientific math conversions to calculate the correct amount of ingredients for their fudge recipe. I think they enjoyed the final product.







The 5th graders used different tools to sort different mixtures in science class. They had to decide which tools to use based on what was in each mixture.
