High School art students visited Culver-Stockton College on Tuesday for their annual HS Student Art Day. They were able to participate in art workshops in the college studios and tour campus.





March Hat Day is Friday, March 28th! Bring $1 to wear a hat at school all day. All proceeds benefit the CTA Scholarship Fund.

Reminder: We hope you will join us for our FFA Soup Supper & Bingo Night next Friday. The funds will help send our students to the State FFA Convention in April. We are thankful for the community support and look forward to seeing you on Friday, March 28 from 6-8 in the school cafeteria.

BMC Baseball will be in action tonight! The concession stand will be serving up a full menu including fish sandwiches, pulled pork, hamburgers & hot dogs. We hope you will come out and support our student athletes. Go BMC!

We would like to congratulate Kayla on earning 1st place Individual in the FFA Knowledge Contest at Elsberry on Saturday! This is an impressive accomplishment. Way to go Kayla.

Attention: Please note that track and baseball practices will be over at 5:15 tonight. Practice bus will return to New Cambria at 5:30 for pickup.

Congratulations to our High School Band students who participated in the Tri-County Conference Band & Choir tour. They rehearsed from 8am - 4pm on Saturday with Dr. Kara Metzger, director of bands at Central Methodist University, and then performed yesterday at Green City, Novinger and Brashear. These students exemplify hard work and dedication and did a wonderful job of representing Macon County R-IV throughout the day yesterday. Bravo!

Congratulations to Alexis Jones on being named TCC All-Conference Honorable Mention and All-Defensive team. It is such an honor to be recognized by the opposing coaches! Congratulations Alexis and all other TCC All-Conference members.

Some of our 10th-12th grade students toured University of Missouri and Columbia College today. It was a great day seeing what it's like to be a college student on these campuses!


Congratulations to Laina for being selected to attend HYPE Academy this summer. This academy prepares students to communicate, lead, and advocate for agriculture. Only the top 30 incoming senior FFA members in the state are selected for this program.
