Congratulations to Emily who placed first at the district SkillsUSA Medical Math competition last month. Emily is in the Health Occupation classes at MACTEC. She will be competing at the state contest this Thursday and Friday. Good luck Emily!

Tonight's game @ Braymer w/ Breckenridge has been postponed. Baseball will have practice, 3:45-5:30 p.m. @ BHS.

Congrats to Cecelia! She has been selected as a finalist in the Macon Electric Cooperative's 2023 Essay Contest. We are so proud of this accomplishment and wish her the best of luck on the interview portion in April!

Reminder: We will hold our first parent survey night TONIGHT from 6-8 at the school. Parents/Guardians who stop in during one of our survey nights and fill out a survey will be entered in a prize drawing to win a basket full of goodies including a $20 Walmart gift card.
Our district is taking part in the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey. Results from this survey will be used as part of the school improvement review during the 2022-2023 academic year. As part of this process, parents, students, and school employees are asked to voluntarily answer surveys regarding programs and services available to students. Responses from all parents will be anonymously summarized and will become part of a report for the school district. The school district will use this report in the development of school improvement efforts. If you have more than one child in school, you will receive more than one survey link. Please complete a survey for each individual child. Do not complete one survey for multiple children. The surveys will be processed so that school officials receive reports about each building in the district. The questionnaires contain demographic and opinion questions. You have the option not to respond to any item or not to complete a survey at all. This is a great opportunity for parents/guardians to collaborate with the district. Your feedback will provide us with information so we know what we are doing well and identify areas in which we need to improve. Please see flyer for specific dates/times for our survey events. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Bell or Mr. Liebhart at the school.

Reminder to all MCR-IV families: MCR-IV will be in session on Monday, April 3, 2023.

8th grade students were invited to career day at Truman State University. We had an eventful morning!

Due to rain, the baseball game tonight @ Brashear has been postponed.

7th grade had fun making Rube Goldberg devices while learning about energy transformation.

Reminder about the FFA fundraiser spaghetti supper on Friday. The students appreciate your support to help send them to Washington DC for a leadership conference this summer.
