
First graders enjoyed learning about money last week. Mrs. Akins setup a cookie store where students had to purchase supplies to decorate their cookies. The students had fun counting their money and eating their delicious cookies.











MCR-IV would like to thank Raspberry's BBQ for the sonic drink delivery to our teachers and staff last week. We appreciate your thoughtfulness in recognizing the work educators do every day! We sure enjoyed the treat. Thank you!

You are invited to the Community Appreciation Breakfast tomorrow morning (Tuesday, Feb. 21) from 6:00am-8:00am. Come out and support our MCR-IV FFA members and enjoy a delicious breakfast.


Varsity Spring Baseball starts Monday, February 27th. With the high possibility of cold games during the season, Coach Wright would like our team to have matching undershirts; therefore, baseball players are required to wear a blue undershirt for games. Please note, all required paperwork must be turned in or on file before athletes can participate. If you have questions, please contact Coach Wright.


Macon County R-IV school will not be in session on Friday, February 17th, 2023. MCR-IV students will not be attending MACTEC. The district has built in additional days for inclement weather and we do not plan to announce any make-up days at this time.

Tonight's game vs. Green City has been rescheduled for Friday evening 2/17/23. These games will be played at Green City. The girls game will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the boys game to follow.

Due to weather, the basketball games originally scheduled for tonight against Green City will be postponed to a different date. Once we have confirmation of rescheduled date, we will update our app and Facebook page.

MCR-IV will NOT be in session today (Thursday, February 16) due to weather.

Pre K and Kindergarten had a great time today at their Valentine's Day party!

The Macon County R-IV alumni event is quickly approaching! This event will include a 5 on 5 basketball event, basketball shooting contests, and a soup dinner to follow. The district is extending an invite to all alumni, not only basketball players. Hope to see everyone there!
