Fun in First: Students practiced questioning and answering skills by doing a Q&A session with partners. Also, we learned about the difference between rules and laws during social studies by making an anchor chart together.
BMC Booster Club is sponsoring "$1 Night" for the Home Softball & Baseball games vs. LaPlata on Wednesday, September 17th. Each person will get in at a discounted rate of $1 per person thanks to the generosity of the BMC Booster Club. Games start at 5pm.

4th graders have been busy learning about energy and the transfer of energy. This week they did their own investigating and experimenting with designing a Bumper Car Roller Coaster.

This week's STEM challenge was to build a tower capable of holding an apple. These middle school students had several good ideas and they were all successful!
First graders did an excellent job creating story collages today! They cut out pictures from magazines that went along with the story of the week. Additionally, first through third graders were captured having lots of fun on their nice, new gym floor. Happy Friday!

First Grade Highlights: Students searched for paper moths and learned about the importance of camouflage. They also participated in their first "Roll and Read", which allowed for reading practice and number recognition with dice. Comprehension crafts have proven to be a fun, engaging way for students to display their takeaways from our main read-aloud as well!

🎉 Our physical science class had a sweet time measuring ingredients and converting measurements to create some delicious fudge! 🍫 It was an experiment that truly satisfied our taste buds!
Our HS Biology classes had a fantastic time building "water towers" to supply their towns! Not only did they learn about budgeting and building requirements, but they also got to unleash their creativity! 🏗️💧
